In Announcements, People First Waiver, State and City Information

Dear Friends and Colleagues:

As a reminder, on Tuesday, June 26, 2012, OPWDD will hold a statewide workshop showcasing some of the innovative ideas collaborating groups of agencies are developing as they look for more effective and efficient ways to support people with developmental disabilities under the People First Waiver. The Innovative Ideas Workshop will occur via videoconference, presenting information on collaborative initiatives underway by several groups of providers and engaging audiences of individuals, family members and provider agency staff across the state in discussion. The idea is to share innovative ideas as a means of sparking still further service delivery innovation throughout the state.  These groups have come together in anticipation of system changes and have worked independently from OPWDD in their efforts.

The workshop will run from 9:00 a.m. through 3:15 p.m. with a working lunch.
