The Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) is pleased to announce that the New York State Amended Home and Community Based Settings (HCBS) Transition Plan is now available for public comment and can be accessed through the New York State Department of Health’s website using the following link:

The Amended Statewide Transition Plan includes a significant amount of information regarding OPWDD’s HCBS settings transition activities (pages 61-156). The deadline for comments is August 19, 2016 by close of business. Comments can be emailed to HCBSrule@health.ny.gov or mailed to:
