“To my dear friends and colleagues in the DD community:
As some of you already know, I am leaving YAI on Tuesday, January 6th to join New York City’s Hurman Resources Administration (HRA) as the Executive Director of ADA Affairs. YAI has been my home for 21 years and it is hard to leave my wonderful colleagues and the fabulous LINK Department. But I am ready for a new opportunity and am looking forward to supporting the most vulnerable New Yorkers in gaining access to much needed benefits and resources.
One of the best parts of my job has been the opportunity to collaborate, learn from, and often befriend people like you. I am so lucky to know so many committed, hardworking and passionate people who care so deeply for the wellbeing of people with developmental disabilities.
