Discussion:

Jennifer Shaoul provided an explanation on issues with ending managed care exemption for waiver “look-alikes”. We reviewed a letter from the NYCHR Administration and a letter from OPWDD regarding Managed Care Exemptions. We will consider a fuller discussion on this topic in December.

Jennifer provided an overview of the Point Program in White Plains, Westchester County. A presentation of this program will be held at the Manhattan DD Council on December 13th at YAI at 10:00am.

Jennifer reviewed workshop topics. Topics will be finalized by Thursday October, 11th . Please see the attached front page of the November 29th brochure.
