- Most of the positions can be found through the website. UWS and UES and lower Manhattan are areas that they would like to hire people.
- The census is going digital
- People are counted were they live most often if they have more than 1 residence.
- 675 billion will be divided amongst the states based on the count. The amount of people in the House of Representatives will be decided through the count. Last time New York lost 2 representatives and we might lose1- 2 more in New York.
- All information is secure.
- The census is completely segregated. They take information in but do not give information out. Rates are released but not names or identification
- There are only 10 questions asked in the census this year. There is no question about citizenship
- Everyone will be sent an invitation to respond to the census. That invitation will have a code to prepopulate your address.
- You can also call. There are 12 different languages that will respond to you.
- There are 59 guides all together with different languages to help you answer the questions.
- In 2010 1 million children were underreported. It is important to count from the youngest to the oldest.
- Key Milestones for the 2020 census.
