Discussion- Manhattan Family & Professional Resource Fair 2015
Updates were provided on the upcoming Manhattan Family and Professional Resource Fair scheduled for Monday, December 14, 2015 at the New York Academy of Medicine at 1216 Fifth Avenue at 103rd Street, New York, NY, 10029 from 10:00 AM to 2 PM with doors opening at 9:30 AM.
- The space is secured. There will be three breakout rooms and two rooms for vendors.
- Brochure was distributed to agencies serving Manhattan residents. More brochures were distributed during meeting.
- Food will be served in a form of a snack as the venue does not allow outside catering. Ideas for combinations of snacks were discussed, such as a drink, granola, pretzels and/or fruit leather.
- Raffle ticket will be given during registration.
- Volunteers are needed. Please contact Wendy De Leon at wdeleon@ucpnyc.org if you would like to volunteer for set up, as greeter, guide, etc.
- Translation-A request was put in for DOE to translate brochure to Chinese and provide translation during workshops.
- Margaret Puddington will handle Moderator Packets.
- A/V needs are still to be decided.
- Directory-All agencies should have sent Nicole Riccio at riccio@yai.org their updated information for the new Directory.
- Parent Packets-An agency must be identified to complete parent packets.
