We hope that you have had a fun filled summer and are ready to return to business of sharing important information with one another. We have been busy planning innovative meetings and events and will let you know the confirmed topics shortly.

We are excited to keep families, providers and self-advocates current on all issues pertaining to children and adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.
Our September Full Council meeting will be educational and inspiring. Our Guest Speakers are:
Jill Krata, PhD, will tell us about AutismBrainNet, the study of brain tissue “the best hope in searching for risk factors and causes of autism…”
and
Janice Chisholm, Director, Bureau of Developmental Disabilities, will present updates and information from the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene
