Has 3 spots open in their Day Hab Program for those that are 21 and older
CGS:
Has several openings in its Vocational Day Hab Programs for Manhattan and Brooklyn
Has several openings in its School Holiday Respite program for those 14-21 years of age and round trip transportation is provided
FEGS:
Has several openings in its Pre Vocations Programs and Supportive Employment Programs
LAC:
Has several openings in 2 of its Day Hab Programs. One Day Programs is in Northern Harlem and the other is in Brooklyn Crown Heights. Both Day Hab programs service those that are low functioning, have a diagnosis of Autism or are along the spectrum
YAI:
Has 5 openings in SEMP. However, the person needs to have been referred by ACCESS V-R
UCP:
Has 2-3 openings in the East 23rd Street location as well as the UCP location on Staten Island, family reimbursement opportunities, and overnight respite opportunities at Stillwell. The overnight opportunities is for children of all age
Pathway to Employment: – Guest Speakers – Tonya Obey & Tom Mannion (OPWDD)
Pathway to Employment is a new OPWDD service for people with developmental disabilities. It is a time-limited service to support individuals to further their skills with the ultimate goal of leading to paid employment in an integrated setting. The service includes skill development as well as discovery, career exploration and participation in volunteer/internships to assist individuals in identifying opportunities in paid work. This service allows for both direct & indirect supports. Individuals may access Pathway to Employment in addition to Day Habilitation or Pre Vocational Supports.
