NOW WE NEED THE GOVERNOR’S SUPPORT
THE SENATE, ASSEMBLY AND THE GOVERNOR MUST ALL AGREE TO INCLUDE THE FULL RESTORATION OF THE $120 MILLION IN THE FINAL BUDGET
Even then, the Governor could veto the restoration
Therefore,
A VIGIL WILL BE HELD IN THE
WAR ROOM OF THE STATE CAPITOL TO CONVINCE GOVERNOR CUOMO
TO INCLUDE FULL RESTORATION OF THE 6% CUT
IN THE FINAL BUDGET!!!
THE VIGIL WILL BE HELD DAILY BEGINNING MONDAY, MARCH 11TH THROUGH FRIDAY, MARCH 22ND
Rules for Vigil:
It is VERY important that the Vigil is conducted respectfully.
You are not only in a very historic room, but an area which is also people’s work-space. Turn off cell phones. This is a Vigil— not a sit-in, demonstration or rally. No posters, banners etc, People with a developmental disability will be provided with a note that they may send into the Governor asking him to meet with them & directly hear their plea for full restoration of the 6% cut.
