DISCUSSIONS:
Family Support Fair
Feedback on the 12/1/2011 Fair
Janet Davis from OPWDD stated that families reported that they were very pleased with the fair and expressed appreciation. Families were more vocal about their appreciation for the event. We reviewed the attached Fair Evaluation prepared by Margaret Puddington.
Evaluation
1. People in workshops are to be asked to circle the workshop they are evaluating – when this does not happen, we cannot accurately report on the workshop results.
2. We discussed the space. The workshop space is less than ideal due to limited space and the acoustics. We will research options for other spaces.
3. If we can get the gift bags for parents assembled the night before, that would be ideal.
Issues
Bathrooms were not clean and we need a dedicated microphone for the Fair.
The Directory
Jennifer Shaoul reviewed the sections of the 2011 Directory and singled out New entries this year. There were a number of recommendations on updating the Directory for next year.

We will not meet on Tuesday February 14th because of scheduled meetings in Albany.
